Central Queensland Driving Academy offers a variety of driving courses for anyone seeking to obtain their Heavy Rigid drivers licence.
We provide truck driving lessons for bother Synchromesh gearbox or Non-Synchro gearbox licence. The difference between the two is that with a Synchromesh licence you will end up with a Restricted licence. While the Non-Synchromesh licence will give you an Unrestricted licence.
This is similar to the automatic licence compared to a manual car licence. An automatic car licence restricts you to drive only automatic vehicles while a manual licence allows you to drive both manual and automatic vehicles. So a Non-Synchromesh licence will allow you to drive both a synchro and non-synchro vehicles. There are some differences in the two gearboxes which we can teach you during our lessons.
We also offer you the option to use your own vehicle or a friend’s vehicle for your lessons. Because we are not utilising our vehicles we can pass on a discount to you thus giving you a cost saving.
If you don’t have access to your own vehicle, then don’t worry, because we have vehicles available.
For more information about HR driving lessons please call Central Queensland Driving Academy or just complete the online form and we will get in touch with you.
