CQDA is thrilled to announce that we’re partnering with SmartAg Queensland to offer subsidised truck training, made possible through funding from the Queensland Farmers’ Federation (QFF).
What is QFF?
The Queensland Farmers’ Federation is the united voice of Queensland agriculture, representing over 13,000 farmers across the state through its peak industry bodies.
About SmartAg Queensland
SmartAg Queensland is an industry-led initiative aimed at supporting farmers with affordable, targeted training. This program provides access to accredited, non-accredited, and micro-credential training to help agricultural enterprises attract, train, and retain a skilled and diverse workforce.
Who Is Eligible?
To qualify for subsidised training, you must:
- Be involved in plant-based agriculture.
- Be over 15 years of age.
What’s on Offer?
Through this partnership, eligible participants can access:
- Subsidised lessons and testing for MR, HR, and HC licenses: 5 hours of lessons + test at 75% off.
- MC license upgrades: Subsidised at 50% off.
Important Details:
- Subsidies are limited to 3 employees per business per year.
- Additional lessons can be booked as needed, but the subsidy only applies to the first 5 hours.
How to Access the Subsidy:
- Complete the Truck Training Request Form.
- Once approved, you’ll receive an email with your training approval and a coupon code.
- Use the coupon code when booking your training through the CQDA website to access the discounted rates.
Any additional training beyond the approved subsidy will be charged at the standard rate.
