Q-Ride Changes on October 2016

Getting your learners:

AS at Oct 1, to get your learners licence you will need to complete a Q-Ride pre-learner course which may take 2 days to complete. Once you have completed the Q-Ride pre-learners course then you will have to do the theory questionnaire which will be online still. Current process is to complete the learners questionnaire online and then you can ride with a supervisor.

Going from Learners to RE:

Once you have your learners, you will now have to hold this learners for 3 months before completing another Q-Ride for you RE licence. Current process is that you can sit the Q-Ride as soon as you have the learners, there is not the 3 month waiting period.

Going from RE-R:

Must hold the RE licence now for 2 years before eligible for Q-Ride course to go to R licence. Current process is hold your RE licence for 12 months before progressing to R
